The company recognises that the provision of equal opportunity within the workplace is not only good practice but also makes good business sense. Liquid Leisure and its equal opportunities policy will aid those who work for the Company in developing their full potential and talent. The resources of such individuals will be utilised to maximise the organisation’s efficiency.

Liquid Leisure is opposed to all forms of unlawful and unfair discrimination. All job applicants, current staff, contractors and sub-contractors will be treated fairly and not discriminated against. The Company will establish appropriate information and monitoring systems to implement our equal opportunities policy effectively. The Company will regularly review the effectiveness of the equal opportunity policy at least annually. To successfully implement and monitor the policy, the Company will:

  1. Communicate to staff, job applicants, contract workers, agency workers and all required personnel the Equal Opportunity Policy.
  2. Incorporate specific and appropriate duties in job descriptions and work objectives.
  3. Provide equal training and guidance.
  4. Incorporate equal opportunity notices into general practice, such as staff newsletters.
  5. Obtain commitments from other personnel and suppliers or organisations that they will adhere to and comply with the policy in dealing with the Company and workforce.
  6. Ensure those involved in the recruitment process are trained in non-discriminatory selection techniques when assessing candidates for recruitment and promotion and that adequate resources are available to fulfil the objectives.

The Company promotes that staff who believe that they have suffered any form of discrimination, harassment, or victimisation are entitled to raise their grievances through the correct procedures. All complaints of discrimination will be dealt with promptly and with the utmost confidentiality.
